Clear Lake Housing Market Update

Here's some helpful housing market information.

* Clear Lake single family home sales have slightly increased through October YTD 2005 by 1% with 1975 homes sold in 2005 as compared to 1950 last year.

* Contracts written and pending to close year to date are down from this time last year by 47 units for a total of 1284 MLS recorded pending sales.

* Homes listed in Clear Lake are down by 4% from this time last year with 802 single-family homes on the market today as compared to 843 last year.

* Clear Lake's average sales price is up by 7% and currently stands at $179,176 as compared to $167,509 last year during the same time frame.

* Days on the market register at 68, which represents a decline of 1-day less on the market to sell a home than last year.
